Is it a Notebook? Is it a Tablet?
Both! And I love it already! It's an Ideapad Yoga 11s from Lenovo.
I needed a small portable computer for my daily commuting. I want to do something useful with that 90 minutes on the train every day (okay, let's be honest, I will mostly surf reddit once I get mobile internet, can't decide on a contract yet, they are all shitty).
It's my first machine with an SSD and holy shit, that thing boots fast! And starts programs fast! And it's soo silent!
I think it looks really elegant and minimalistic, which I like. And the keyboard is surprisingly good for a that small machine.
I bought it used (I don't like buying new stuff, if there are people wanting to get rid of their stuff. Nothing new needs to be produced that way for me). I already own a notebook, but it is to heavy and big to use comfortably on the train. I will probably sell it next week or so (I really don't need 2 notebooks).
Of course I installed Arch Linux on it and encrypted the SSD, because I'm a paranoid person. Not too many problems, almost everything worked out of the box, although the touchscreen is not that useful on Linux, since there aren't many applications supporting multitouch :(.
